AirSpot - Happy 2025!
There’s been lots going on at AirSpot so here's a quick update:
AirSpot App
The latest AirSpot App version 3.2.0 has just been released on the App Store and Google Play.
Check it out - it’s free after all!
The graphical trend displays looks fantastic with new features including area fill and line marking:
Also we've added a function to allow the download of CO2 measurement data stored in your device as a CSV spreadsheet file.
The AirSpot App will continue to be upgraded as we look to introduce more capabilities including 'Do Not Disturb' mode, the AirSpot Calculator and as we further develop the open source CO2 map. We'll keep you posted as more app upgrades are introduced!
AirSpot Device Software
With the latest app you’ll be able to upload the latest software into your AirSpot Device.
Measurement Frequency and ‘Now’ Mode
You’ll notice the screen has changed slightly - as well as the previous 3min, 1min and 5 sec frequency modes (which are now indicated in bottom left corner of the screen) we’ve also added a ‘Now’ mode. 
The 'Now' mode basically acts as an ‘on demand or hibernate’ mode - the device will only provide a CO2 measurement when the AirButton is pressed.
If left in 'Now' mode the device battery will last several weeks without needing to be recharged.
AirSpot Device Hardware
Front panel re-design
We want these devices on childrens’ school bags which we know take a battering - so we've looked at how we can make them much stronger!
The front panel has been redesigned with a solid clear lens in front of the screen to provide even greater protection.
Going forward all AirSpot devices will be delivered with these reinforced front panels. They can also be easily retrofitted onto existing devices.
